“Brownwood Bulletin” MRS. DAPHNE SHEFFIELD, 63.
Services for Mrs. Daphne Sheffield, 63, of 1211 Coggin Avenue, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Wright's Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Feemster, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Santa Anna Cemetery.
Mrs. Sheffield, Brownwood resident since 1940, died at 4:35 am. Saturday, at her home. Member of the Methodist Church, she was born December 31, 1900 in Bell County and lived om Santa Anna prior to moving here.
She and William D. Sheffield ware married January 29, 1920 in Santa Anna. He died in August 1963.
Survivors include a son, William D. Sheffield, Jr. of Odessa; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Schwarz of Michigan, Mrs. Janie Addison of Houston and Mrs. Jess Howard of Santa Anna; two brothers, Carter Duggins of Monohans and Sammie Duggins of Bangs; a half-brother, A. J. Smith of Ballinger, and one grandchild.
