William C. Dyches was born 1799 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina, and died 1854 in Bell County, Texas. He was the son of Josiah and Lucinda Dyches. He married Jane about 1828 in Washington Parish, Louisiana. She was born 1801 in South Carolina, and died before 1900 in Bell County, Texas. She was remarried to ? Meek after 1854.
