Henry Crenshaw was born about 1814 in South Carolina and died about 1889 in Grapeland, Houston County, Texas. He was the son of Nathaniel Crenshaw and Sophia Lenderman. He married Ulala Mahala Harman on 18 November 1854 in Marshall County, Mississippi. She was born 1 January 1831 in Bibb County, Alabama and died 1884 in Grapeland, Houston County, Texas. She was the daughter of Zachariah Harman and Lucinda Ferguson.
