Alonzo Jackson Crenshaw was born 3 October 1862, Benton City, Arkansas and died 24 December 1947, Aransas Pass, San Patricio County, Texas. He was the son of Henry Crenshaw and Ulala Mahala Harman. He married Martha Francis Strother 23 October 1881. She was born 8 April 1868 in Grapeland, Houston County, Texas and died 3 March 1938 in Valera, Coleman County, Texas. She was the daughter of Thomas Strother and Caroline Frances Permilia Young-Johnston.
